W. R. Case & Sons is working in conjunction with Lionel to create this unique Limited Edition O gauge model train. Limited to 1,000 sets. It includes a Southern Pacific Steam Engine and Tender, a Flat Car carrying a Case Hobo® knife, a Caboose, and 16 pieces of track (8 curved and 8 straight) which will make a 71" x 31" oval. The Hobo" measures 4-1/8" closed with Chestnut Bone scales. It also includes a box car, an oil tanker and a gondola car carrying a single blade Case® Mini Folding Hunter. Each car and knife are serial numbered and each piece reflects the Case brand. This set is a collectors dream! The guarantee is that no more than 1,000 will be produced. This means that if there are fewer than 1,000 ordered, fewer will be made. This is extremely unlikely, there are bound to be more than 1,000 train collectors and/or Case knife collectors who will want one of these trains.
