The closest thing to a truly custom-made knife that can be made in a factory, Case and Tony Bose collaborations are widely known throughout the industry for their innovative traditional knife patterns. This 2016 collaboration is no exception. The Wilfred Lockback Hunter is based on a Depression-era folding design but made with modern features. Each Wilfred Lockback Hunter is fitted with a locking flat taper ground Clip blade. The blade's spline is precisely wedged to the point and specially gimped beyond the nail mark. The locking mechanism works with an internal spring and locker that work in combination with a revolutionary fiber G-10 spacer design. Stainless steel bolsters and a specially milled interior scale improve the blade's performance and ensure extra-smooth blade function. A stainless steel, pinned-on Bowtie shield makes for a sure fit into the knife handle, and a lanyard tube allows for numerous carrying options. Production limited to 125 pieces made.
